Pekka Tervonen

Pekka is Research Director in Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) since 2021. He was Research Professor 2018-2020 and also the director of Smarter & Greener Industry Innovation Ecosystem in Oulu Innovation Alliance 2018-2022. Pekka has been working in University of Oulu since 2012. During 2012-2017 he worked as the director of Centre for Environment and Energy (CEE). Pekka also has over 17 year experience of managing positions in steel industry, mainly in Business and Operational Excellence, Innovation Management and ESSQ Management. Pekka graduated on D.Sc. (Tech.) in Industrial Engineering and Management in 2010 in University of Oulu. He received his docentship in 2016.
