1. FULL FIVE YEAR’S DEGREE PROGRAMME IN ARCHITECTURE
The degree programme in architecture is a five year program, consisting of two degrees:
Bachelor of science (BSc) in architecture 180 ECTS, 3 years
Master of science (MSc) in architecture 120 ECTS, 2 years
The MSc degree awarded is an architect’s professional degree, providing the right to practise the architect’s profession in Finland and in the European Union according to the laws and decrees.
2. INTERNATIONAL MASTER’S PROGRAMME IN ARCHITECTURE
Master of science (MSc) 120 ECTS, 2 years

The contents and objectives of the study program are based on the requirements of the European Union Professional Qualifications Directive (2005/36/EC) set for the education of architects (article 46).
The Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes of the Oulu School of Architecture have been notified by the EU commission.
