MIMESIS is a three-year European Industrial Doctorate (EID) project in the programme Innovative Training Networks (ITN) and part of Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions within the Horizon 2020 programme. The research work is divided into eight doctoral thesis projects, which focus on induction heating, phase transformations in steel alloys, and gas stirring in steelmaking ladles. The partners of the project are EFD Induction, SSAB Europe, Outokumpu Stainless, University of Oulu and Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics. The project has been successful both in scientific and industrial terms and is scheduled to end in September 2019.”
