GMAT/GRE Test results

Oulu Business School uses GMAT and GRE tests in three programmes (see programmes below)

Please note that it is not mandatory to take these tests! They are a way of gaining extra points towards admission on your application.

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and Graduate Record Examination (GRE) are standardized tests for business school applicants. Test results are used as part of selection process in three of Oulu Business School's degree programmes.

We accept the following test results:

• GMAT Exam
• GMAT Focus Edition
• GRE General Test

GMAT online exam and GRE general test at home are also accepted.

Sufficient test score is optional and you may use them to gain extra points on your application to the following programmes:

• Responsible Economics and Finance
• Finance
• Financial and Management Accounting

For GMAT, only the total score (including quantitative section and verbal section) is taken into consideration for the evaluation. For GRE, only verbal reasoning score and quantitative reasoning score are considered.

Test result is valid for 5 years. For 2025 admission, tests taken on 8th January 2020 at the earliest are accepted.

Attach a copy of your results to your online application by January 29, 2025,15:00/3pm (GMT+2).

Order your results to be sent to the University of Oulu for verification by April 30, 2025,15:00/3pm (GMT+2)
