We will invite all registered participants to event platform Brella where you can follow the seminar stream, participate in the discussion, and find the presentation slides as well as network with colleagues interested in similar topics and visit virtual booths of University of Oulu's services.

The speakers in this seminar are Minna Isomursu, Professor of Digital Health and Data-Driven Services contributing to 6G-enabled sustainable society (6GESS) profiling theme, and Jarmo Reponen, Professor of Practice in Healthcare Information Systems, who is also the theme leader of Future AI-tailored wireless hospital theme of the 6GESS program and vice-leader of DigiHealth profiling theme.

6GESS is an Academy of Finland funded research theme that focuses on wireless technologies that enable health care and energy solutions for the future. Isomursu’s research focuses for example on how digitalization can be utilized in healthcare to improve clinical pathways. Alongside his work as a radiologist Reponen has investigated among other things physicians’ user experience with electronic medical record and how information systems are used in healthcare.
