As a part of the After Work events, the Off to the North! -festival programme offers perspectives on the intersections of northern nature and culture as well as the unique phenomena of the north. At the screenings, experts will be present to offer insights on the theme and subject of each film. One of the screenings will also take place as part of the University of Oulu's Capital of Culture Year 2026 opening ceremony at Kontinkangas campus in January. Other screenings take place in Pegasus Library's Maisemasali at Linnanmaa. The events do not include a ticket fee.

Immerse yourself in films that will take you the north – sometimes straight to the point; sometimes with a little twist.
