Please note that the workshops will be conducted in Finnish.

A captivating light installation will be built in the F corridor at Linnanmaa campus, and we are looking for participants to design the artistic luminaires. The pieces will be crafted from interior plywood using laser cutting, and placed in a darkened corridor where the decorative cutouts will cast light and shadows onto the surfaces, creating a fascinating and impressive art experience. The exhibition of these luminaires will be open from November to December.

What will be done in the workshop?

We will design and create individual cube-shaped light fixtures. The process includes using vector graphics program for design, laser cutting the pieces from plywood, adding a light source and installing the finished products in the F corridor exhibition.

Who is the workshop for?

The workshop is open to anyone. It is limited to 16 participants and will be conducted in Finnish. Further information about signing up for the workshop will be added to this page later.
