InStreams Workshop for researchers: Preventing environmental contamination

The InStreams Hub is committed to focus on sustainable materials and systems. Hub has a wide academic base for cross-disciplinary inorganic materials research and engineering, readily combined with sustainable value streams and business. InStreams Hub consists of six themes, from which one is Preventing environmental contamination. This theme focuses on utilization of inorganic side streams in cleantech applications and development of novel materials for water treatment and for emission control.

We welcome all researchers to discuss current issues related to this thematical area.

Especially we are looking forward to topics around transforming inorganic side streams into sustainable functional materials preventing emissions to air, water and soil, not forgetting developing sustainable industrial processes. All this with cross-disciplinary perspectives.

We aim at having concrete discussions how to collaborate with these topics in future together. Hope that this meeting will give you more information on what research is done in Oulu and help you in finding research collaboration in these themes!
