C. Michael Hall: Decolonising Tourism and Tourism Marketing: Indigenous Perspective on Engagement, Methodologies and Practices
Tourism and marketing disciplines must confront their colonial legacies and embed social responsibility in research and practice. This keynote calls for integrating Indigenous knowledge systems, cultural control, and participatory approaches to reshape tourism and marketing in ways that respect Indigenous rights and worldviews.

Sarah Naderi: Restaurants’ Menus as Mediums: Public-Facing Language Use to Sustain Indigenous Language
Indigenous languages are disappearing at an alarming rate, threatening cultural identity and knowledge systems. This keynote explores how restaurant menus can serve as practical tools for language revitalisation and cultural visibility. Drawing on examples from Aotearoa New Zealand, the talk highlights opportunities and challenges for embedding Indigenous language in tourism and foodservice practices.
