Groups and workshops
To whom?
Are you struggling with time management issues? Do you wish to meet other students at campus and study together at the same time? Do you need someone to polish your CV and maybe need some prepping for internship interviews? You are very welcome to join our study and career groups, workshops and events!
Groups, workshops and events are open to all University and University of Applied sciences students, no matter if you are starting your first year in Oulu or already closer to worklife. The groups and workshops usually are quite small, around 10 persons, and cross-disciplinary, so they are great places to meet new faces from other faculties and study programmes; and the best is, that the other students you meet, might be facing exactly the same challenges or life-situations you are. The groups, workshops and events are lead and organized by our study psychologists and study and career guides.

Study Together
Come and study together! At group meetings, everyone promotes their own studies in the way they choose, for example by doing writing assignments or reading for an exam. You can join the meetings without registering. Please note that sometimes the group space may fill up. Bing to the meeting your work assignments and if you wish, snack.
The group meets on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 14:00, if you wish you can stay in the space to study until 15:00. Fall Study Together meeting times: 10.9., 17.9., 24.9., 1.10., 8.10., 15.10., 29.10., 5.11., 12.11., 19.11., 26.11., 3.12. and 10.12.2024. Place: Tinjami, Foodoo Garden, Linnanmaa campus (note: 19.11. and 10.12. in Meirami, Foodoo Garden). The group is organized by the guidance services employees.
