Startup Weekend Oulu April 12-14 – build a startup in one weekend and earn credits!
At Startup Weekend, participants have the opportunity to build a new startup together in one weekend. By participating in the event, you can earn 2-5 credits depending on what you study. Along with an exciting experience, you'll meet new friends, colleagues, founders, and investors. You'll have the chance to develop your entrepreneurial skills with the help of experienced mentors and speakers and might even kickstart a new business! The ticket price covers the entire weekend program and 7 delicious meals.

Funding for testing business ideas – Proof-of-Concept funding up to €5000
Students are offered Proof-of-Concept (PoC) funding for testing and piloting ideas, available up to €5000 per business idea. PoC funding is only available for the idea stage – established companies are not eligible for PoC funding. Funding can be used for purchasing services and material procurement.

RECIPE Student Competition April 18 - June 18 invites innovation for sustainable and healthy cities!
The RECIPE project explores solutions supporting the sustainability and health of cities through nature-based solutions. The project invites students from Oulu's higher education institutions and UNIC to innovate solutions for sustainable and healthy cities! Register for the competition by 12.4.
The best work in the competition will be awarded €1000.
PrintoCent InnoFest -innovation competition
PrintoCent has organized the InnoFest innovation competition, where ideas, problems and Printed Intelligence solutions meet, already since 2014. The event is meant for student, startups, SMEs, and research facilities and has been the launching arena for several innovations and start-ups, new products, and business opportunities in existing companies..
