Final stages of doctoral thesis - timetables for summer 2022

Proposal of the pre-examiners must be submitted in eForms-service at latest on June 20th, if the pre-examination is to be started in July.

Doctoral candidates whose public defence is scheduled for July-August must submit the materials to Acta’s editorial office at the latest on June 1st. See announcement here.

Permissions to defend and acceptance of doctoral theses are processed in the meetings of doctoral programme committees in June and August (see meeting timetables here). See the doctoral degree graduation days here.

There will be a longer delay on forwarding the pre-examination statements and replying to messages at the Graduate School’s service desk (uniogs(at)oulu.fi) during July.
