Project description

This project's overall objective is to reinforce digital collaborative learning competence in the health sciences education of bachelor's students and their educators by developing a hybrid model to create better conditions for students and educators in professional development during the COVID/post-COVID pandemic.

More precisely, in the GenZ pilot study the aim will be to observe and interview health sciences bachelor’s students during their learning of their experiences and competence for digital collaboration and well-being in order to achieve their learning outcomes, professional competence and quality of life in person and virtually. In the project we will conduct an experimental pilot in LeaF infrastructure and virtual learning environments.

Project results

The project will produce new preliminary knowledge on:

  • hybrid learning pedagogical challenges and development ideas
  • students’ competence development in those surroundings
  • students’ digital collaborative skills
  • students’ wellbeing and resilience during a pandemic
