Project description

This is a multi‑method study that uses both qualitative and quantitative approaches to identify development needs, evaluate the effectiveness of digital services, and create sustainable solutions for both urban and rural areas. Through collaboration between the four wellbeing services counties of the Northern collaborative area and two universities, covering more than half of Finland’s land area, the project strengthens regional R&D activities and promotes digital innovation as well as cooperation between the wellbeing services counties. NorthDIGI connects research with practice, accelerates the development of digital services, optimizes resources, and improves the accessibility, equity, and efficiency of health and social care services.
