I am a PhD student and work on the topic "Targeting Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) by the Leukemic Matrisome Interface (LMI)". Thereby I am using and developing an in vitro bone marrow model to investigate how AML cells manipulate their environment via the extracellular matrix to evade chemotherapy and thus lead to relapse of the disease.
