Ashutosh Taral

I am a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Oulu within the Digital Waters PhD Pilot, working in collaboration with the Finnish Meteorological Institute. My research focuses on snow process modelling with applications to remote sensing to understand seasonal and long-term snow dynamics in boreal and subarctic regions. Using physically based models, I investigate snowpack evolution, climate change impacts, and their implications for hydrology and snow-dependent socioeconomic systems.
