My reseach topic is automotive machine learning, and specifically I focus on the sensor data and sensor fusion. The title of my PhD is "Multimodal Data Analytics and Machine Learning for Software-Defined Vehicles".
Essentially I'm focusing on utilising sensor data for safer and improved driving experience for all, with a special focus on Arctic conditions. This includes both the weather, but also Arctic animals such as reindeer.
I'm utilising for instance thermal cameras and LiDAR data in my research, in addition to other data sources such as openly accessible weather data.
