Clinical Psychology
I am a clinical psychologist and currently work as a postdoctoral researcher in the Unit of Psychology. My primary research interests focus on eating disorders and obesity, and their associations with mental health outcomes across developmental stages. I am particularly interested in translating research findings into clinically and socially meaningful impact. In my work, I combine clinical expertise with population-level research, aiming to bridge mental health practice and public health perspectives. Currently, I am involved in a research project led by Professor Mirka Hintsanen exploring the development and consequences of self-compassion and compassion in the context of eating disorders and obesity. In addition to my research activities, I contribute to teaching and supervision of bachelor’s and master’s theses in psychology.
