I am a pharmacist and senior researcher with more than 15 years of experience in research and project management within academia and Industry. My previous work includes the role of nutrients in metabolic diseases and drug development for type-2 diabetes and obesity with natural compounds.

Currently, my research focuses on the role of the circadian rhythm in obesity and tissue fibrosis. Most of the biological processes display circadian rhythm, which is tightly intertwined with metabolic regulations via clock machinery. My current project investigates clock repressor Rev-Erb's in adipose tissue and liver fibrosis. Specialized in mouse phenotyping and monitoring in different environmental conditions.
