I’m an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Oulu, Finland. My research centers on business-to-business marketing (B2B). More precisely, I’m interested in business relationships and business networks, projects and government-to-government (G2G) exchanges, which requires an understanding of interaction processes, institutionalization, boundaries as well as the interface between temporary and permanent forms of organizing. Furthermore, an important side-track includes marketing education and especially closing the theory-practice gap. I have published in international peer-reviewed journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, International Journal of Project Management and Scandinavian Journal of Management. My research develops understanding on marketing and management as complex social phenomena crossing disciplinary boundaries.
