Johanna Metsälä

I am a researcher with a background in nutritional science and epidemiology in the Lifecourse Medicine and Birth Cohort research group. My research interests focus on topics related to pregnancy, delivery and the newborn. My main research topic is reproduction and the health of the next generation among women and men born preterm. I work at the University of Oulu in the NORDCAP and IMPROVE PRETERM projects, and I am a visiting researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden, and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
