Kaisu Kyrö
MSc
Doctoral researcher
I work as a doctoral researcher in the Pediatric–Fetal Health and Microbes research group, where we study extracellular vesicles secreted by the human microbiome as part of the body's communication pathways, particularly during pregnancy and early life. My dissertation focuses more specifically on the development of the gut microbiome during the first three years of life using stool samples. My Master's thesis focused on extracellular vesicles during pregnancy in relation to the mother's weight.
