Research group description
The research group investigates early microbiome, it’s initiation and connection to health and disease in infancy. Our research focus points include:
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) of the maternal microbiome in fetal environment;
Effect of antibiotics on the development of infant’s gut microbiome and child’s health;
Early life mycobiome and interkingdom signaling between the host, bacteria and fungi in early microbiome.
