Early Childhood and Music Education Studies
Faculty of Education and Psychology
Currently, I work as a university teacher responsible of teaching worldview education in ECE as well as didactics of religion and ethics in basic education. I'm also a post-doctoral researcher in the Small Matters research project, where the focus of study is multispecies death and dying as a philosophical topic. In the project I'm especially focusing on advancing research in the Philosophy for Children -method.
In all research I do, I keep asking "What does it mean to be ethical?" How to justify teaching through ethics as 'calling into question'? My doctoral research approached the modern ideals for education through the ethical phenomenology of Emmanuel Levinas. My research interest rests in the intersection of philosophy of education, postcoloniality, worldview education and childhood studies.
