I am a Senior Lecturer in cultural heritage. I take responsibility for the cultural heritage basic and intermediate studies. I teach and do research.

My research is currently focused on cultural nature-environment relations. In particular, I am looking at the contemporary cultural heritage of mires/bogs, the changes that have taken place in it and the digitalisation of human-nature relations.

Over the past few years, I have also explored narratives related to different borders and objects. In my research I have also examined traumatic and violent experiences that children and adolescents encountered in the home, especially on Finland's eastern border during and after the Second World War.
