Laura Veikkola

Project researcher
Laura Veikkola works as a Project Researcher at the Kerttu Saalasti Institute, University of Oulu. She has been involved in several development and research projects related to business transfers and business continuity. Currently, she is working in the Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic funded BOCOD (Boosting Continuity and Digitalisation of Rural Regional Businesses) project. In addition, Veikkola serves as the network coordinator of the National Business Developer Forum (Valtakunnallinen Yrityskehittäjäfoorumi).
As an early-stage doctoral researcher in educational sciences, she studies the agency of rural entrepreneurs. Her work is grounded in cultural-historical activity theory, which she applies to analyse entrepreneurial activity, learning, and change within broader activity systems.
