Martta Kerkelä

Martta is a postdoctoral researcher with a background in statistics, having completed her PhD in 2023 at the University of Oulu. Her research focuses on psychiatric epidemiology, particularly utilizing Finnish register data. She has studied mental health outcomes, early-life risk factors, and psychiatric comorbidities, and is currently researching the effects of SSRI use in adolescence on psychiatric and functional outcomes in adulthood.
