Mehedi Rabbil is a doctoral researcher at the Fibre and Particle Engineering Research Unit, Faculty of Technology, University of Oulu. He received an MSc. degree in Environmental Engineering at the same institution and has since worked as a research assistant in various projects. Mehedi's current research focuses on preparing alkali-activated porous-based filters from low-cost industrial by-products as catalyst supports in advanced oxidation processes for abatement of pharmaceuticals and other micropollutants in wastewater treatment.
