Mengke Wang

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Learning and Educational Technology (LET) research lab in the Faculty of Education and Psychology. My research focuses on how artificial intelligence can facilitate learning for both students and teachers. I am particularly interested in how AI-based prompts and feedback influence learning processes and outcomes, and how these insights can inform the design of learning technologies and guide educational practice. I also aim to examine how emerging evidence and observed phenomena can inform and enrich existing theoretical perspectives on learning and regulation in technology-enhanced contexts. In my current work in the LEAD Project, I investigate how learners interact with a metacognitive agent to uncover regulation processes and inform the design of shared regulation support.
