My research focuses on cold-region hydrology at the intersection of remote sensing and AI, with a particular emphasis on estimating snowmelt timing and melt rates. My work aims to strengthen evidence for climate-change impact assessment and flood-risk planning in Finland by improving how snowmelt dynamics are observed and quantified across different landscapes. Outside the lab, I stay active by traveling, exploring new places, working out at the gym, practicing archery, and watching movies.
