I am Software Engineer for Infrastructure and Integration on the DIWA (Digital Waters) project at the University of Oulu, Finland's national hydrologic digital twin initiative. I design and build the platform behind DIWA — distributed storage, IoT and geospatial data pipelines, microservices and federated authentication — serving over researchers across Finnish institutions and European research infrastructures. My background is in full-stack development, data engineering, SCADA and DevOps, and my current focus is on standards-based, interoperable infrastructure for environmental research data.
