Research group description
The Water Digitalization Engineering research group is an interdisciplinary group spanning hydrology, water resources engineering, data science, and computer science. The group develops tools and infrastructure to improve how water data and models are accessed, connected, and used in a changing hydrosphere. Research focuses on filling observation gaps, improving data access and interoperability, enabling multi-sector modelling, and translating research insights into practical applications. The research supports more accessible, interpretable, and actionable data-driven water planning and management.
