Reetta Viljanen

I work as a doctoral researcher in the Gaze on lips? -project, which examines the speechreading skill of elementary school-aged children. I study the assessment of speechreading ability, factors influencing speechreading skill, and the influence of the speaker's facial expressions on understanding visual speech. My research aims to produce information needed in clinical work when assessing the need for speechreading rehabilitation and monitoring rehabilitation.
