Riikka Mononen

Riikka Mononen (PhD, Docent of Education) works as a Vice Dean (education) of the Faculty of Education and Psychology and as a Professor of Special Education. She leads the research group Diversity in Education (DivE). She is also a member of the research collective MoLeWe, which brings together researchers interested in motivation, learning, and well-being of children and adolescents. Currently, Mononen leads a 4-year consortium project iFeelMath together with Åbo Akademi University, funded by the Research Council of Finland, and the eMotMath and iTeachMath projects funded by the Eudaimonia Institute.
