Salla Kangas

I am a postdoctoral researcher on a project that focuses on childhood-onset genetic brain white matter diseases. My background is in biochemistry and cell biology. We aim to identify novel geno-phenotypes and novel genetic aetiologies affecting brain myelin. We use patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells and CRISPR/Cas9-based approaches for cell type-specific disease modelling.
