Sampo Ylisiurua is graduated as a physicist from the University of Oulu, majoring in molecular and material physics. Ylisiurua is currently working as a specializing physicist at Oulu University Hospital and is completing a doctoral thesis related to medical imaging. The dissertation examines the use of artificial intelligence, simulation software, and modern X-ray detectors in computed tomography.
