I am studying the changes in biodiversity of Arthropods in the Finnish forest over a timespan of past 40 years using Environmental DNA metabarcoding. The results will be integrated with remote sensing based methods to understand the effect of habitat changes upon the biodiversity of the bioindicator taxa. My research interest lies in biodiversity monitoring and habitat restoration using Environmental DNA metabarcoding, community and stakeholder engagement.
