Description of the interaction between two transcription factors and their effect on prostate cancer progression.

We identified the relationship of possible SNPs that correlate with HNF1B expression. HNF1B expression is elevated when somatic mutation of ERG (TMPRSS2-ERG) takes place in prostate cancer . HNF1B and TMPRSS2-ERG interact together and co-occupy binding sites in locus of FAM57A which can elevate its expression and progress prostate cancer.
