How we support your work-life balance and well-being

Working time and holidays

  • research and teaching staff: 1,612 working hours/year, salary paid for 12 months
  • specialist staff: 36.25 working hours/week, 6-7,5 weeks of paid annual holiday, based on your years of service
  • monetary holiday bonus
  • partially paid parental leave to complement the parental allowance by the Social Insurance Institution (Kela)
  • paid temporary childcare leave
  • remote work possibility, including remote work abroad with certain criteria
