How to verify your educational documents for admission
All educational documents used in your application must be verified. This guide explains how the verification process works and which verification method to use. Make sure your documents are available for verification by the given deadline, as documents submitted late cannot be accepted.
Concerning verification
Please note that you are responsible for making sure that all documents are verified and submitted or are available for electronic verification by the given deadline. Documents submitted late are not accepted.
- Check whether your country has a country-specific requirement.
- If not, check whether your institution offers an accepted electronic verification service.
- If electronic verification is not available, use email verification by the awarding institution.
- If email verification is not available, use one of the general verification methods.
-
Make sure your documents are verified by the deadline. Check the Bachelor's application timeline and deadlines or Master's application timeline and deadlines, depending on your admission route.
Information on IB, EB, RP and DIA qualifications is not automatically available through the electronic registers used by the University of Oulu during the admission process. Therefore, applicants admitted to a study programme must provide separate verification of their completed qualification.
If you are applying to a bachelor's programme with an IB, EB, RP or DIA qualification, please see the accordion below for instructions on how to verify your qualification.
