Alumni Day

Alumni Day 2024 brings together graduates from different faculties of our university to relive their study moments and spend time with other alumni and the university community. The program includes a keynote speak from Jari Saario who rowed across the Atlantic, science talks, alum interview from our alum of the year Mika Rämet, music and coffee, and the opportunity to visit the faculty and guild rooms.

All university alumni, staff, and students are warmly welcome to the event. The 2023 event brought together more than 400 people for a relaxed Alumni Day.

The joint programme of the Alumni Day will be held in Linnanmaa near the central lobby from 3 to 5 p.m. The events locates at Restaurant Napa, (entrance 2T, Erkki Koiso-Kanttilan katu).

The faculties' own programmes are either before or after the joint event. See below for more information.

Alumni Day brings together graduates from different faculties of our university to relive their study moments and spend time among other alumni, staff and students.

The program features an interesting keynote speech by Jari Saario, who rowed across the Atlantic, on how to make your dreams come true. You will also hear inspiring scientific talks from our researchers and an interview with our alumnus of the year, Mika Rämet. You can also visit the premises of your faculty and guild.

We will hear music from Trio Elisé and Cassiopeia. In addition to coffee, we offer some small snacks.

All university alumni, university staff and students are warmly welcome to the event.

You are welcome to spread information about the event in your own alumni network.

Please note that most of the programme is held in Finnish.
