Marika Iivari appointed as education dean at Oulu Business School

Starting at the beginning of 2026, Marika Iivari will take up the position of education dean at Oulu Business School. She has carried out highly regarded work in teaching and educational development at Oulu Business School.

Marika Iivari has worked as a senior research fellow in the field of business analytics and digital business at the Martti Ahtisaari Institute of the University of Oulu, and as a degree programme director for master's programmes at Oulu Business School since 2021. Iivari holds a D.Sc. from the University of Oulu, awarded in 2016, and was granted the title of Adjunct Professor (Docent) from the University of Oulu in 2023.

Her colleagues at the Martti Ahtisaari Institute warmly congratulate Marika on her appointment and wish her every success in her new and responsible role.
