Marko Ahtisaari appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Iceye
Marko Ahtisaari, Chair of the Board of Martti Ahtisaari Institute and Honorary Doctor of the University of Oulu, has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer of the Finnish space technology company Iceye. Ahtisaari has served on the Institute’s board since 2008 and as its chair since 2024.

Iceye is known for its advanced radar satellite technology, which enables the production of precise Earth observation data on a global scale. Ahtisaari’s appointment strengthens the company’s international growth and visibility in the rapidly evolving space and technology sector.
