Oulu Business School receives recognition from the university as the RePIC degree programme is awarded

RePIC is an international joint degree programme offered collaboratively by Oulu Business School, the Geography Research Unit, and the School of Architecture. The programme provides students with the opportunity to study at multiple universities during their master’s studies. Now in its third year of programme offerings, RePIC has attracted widespread interest among applicants.
According to the award citation, the joint degree programme, developed under the Europe-wide UNIC University network and in collaboration with multiple faculties and units at the University of Oulu, is a groundbreaking example of interdisciplinarity, international appeal, and the ability to succeed together.
OBS' course Data and Decision Making in Smart Cities is part of the RePIC programme. The course offers a comprehensive overview of data-driven decision making in organizational and network contexts, addressing key functions, stakeholders, resources and transactions. It examines smart city processes and support systems from the perspective of data-driven planning, execution and improvement to support knowledge management and decision making. The course is led by Senior Research Fellow Marika Iivari.
In addition to the University of Oulu, the international RePIC network includes seven other universities: Ruhr Universität Bochum (Germany), University College Cork (Ireland), Universidad de Deusto (Spain), Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), Koç University (Turkey), Université de Liège (Belgium), and the University of Zagreb (Croatia).
Congratulations to all award recipients!
