Break exercise program guides you to take breaks while studying

Get up and stay active – new Break Pro application reminds you to take mini breaks.

The University of Oulu provides break exercise program for the use of students and staff. The program reminds you to take breaks while studying or working and provides break exercise guidance based on the latest exercise recommendations.

Break Pro contains over hundred 1-minute break exercise videos. You can choose how often you want to do the exercise. You can select regular intervals of 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes or set alarms by your own choice. The language is Finnish, Swedish or English.

Students can download the application on their computer on the page https://breakpro.fi/en/download/. More information about the applications for students use can be found on the ICT website www.oulu.fi/ict/software.

To download the app to your mobile phone, go to the Apple’s AppStore or the Google Play Store and search the app by using keywords "breakpro", "BREAKPRO", “break pro” or “BREAK PRO”. After downloading the program, enter your university e-mail address in the activation field and you will receive the activation code to your email.
