The University's donor wall has a new location on campus - celebrating 3000 donors!

The donor wall located on the Linnanmaa campus has found a new, prominent spot on the wall next to L1 lecture hall. The wall features the names of all the individuals and organisations that have donated to the University of Oulu, provided they have given permission for their names to be displayed. By acknowledging these donors, the University wishes to thank each of them for their significant support.

In March, the milestone of 3000 donors was also reached. In total, approximately 2700 individuals and 300 organisations have supported the university's research and educational activities through donations since 2008. Thanks to these contributions, significant research openings have become possible, numerous new professorships have been established, and investments have been made in educational development and student well-being. One of the university's five study psychologists has also been hired using donation funds. Donations can still be made to benefit students. Donations are collected to facilitate student exchange programs and strengthen working life skills. The funds received are used directly for mobility grants and internship support.

Support a student.
