My research concentrates on the relationship between peatland vegetation and methane emissions by studying plot-scale manual methane flux measurements and fine-scale variation in the plant communities in Puukkosuo rich fen. My aim is to identify the main factors regulating and causing spatial differences in methane fluxes at this particular site.
