Elijah Damilola Adesanya
PhD
Postdoctoral Researcher
Process and Environmental Engineering

Dr Adesanya is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Fiber and Particle Engineering Research Unit. He started working in the unit as an Intern in 2014 after which he proceeded with his Master thesis in 2015 in the same unit.
After graduation in 2015, he started as a Doctoral researcher working on the valorisation of industrial residues in alkali activated materials and in hydraulic binder as an alternative to Portland cement. He finished his PhD in Process Engineering in 2019. His current research focus is on alternative cements (alkali activated materials, Geopolymers, hydraulic binders etc.) from industrial residues towards circular economy, and reducing the environmental
footprints of cement. He has published several research articles in peer-reviewed international journals and presented at international conferences.
