Who can participate?

The Language and Communication Unit organizes Finnish courses from survival course level to advanced level.  Courses are intended for international students (degree students and exchange students) and personnel of the University of Oulu (see the staff training portal Osku).

The courses are free of charge for the registered students and staff members. People outside from the University can apply for the courses with Application for non-degree studies . Further information by emailing study.languages@oulu.fi.

Course descriptions and registration information for the courses are in Tuudo and Peppi. 

Please find further information by clicking the Courses listed in the tab above. Note that not every course is available in every semester.

Exact information about schedules and rooms of the courses  are available in Peppi system.  Registration for the autumn courses starts at the beginning of August and for the spring courses at the beginning of December.
