Greenhouses Romeo and Julia
Greenhouses
During greenhouse visits, you can roam freely and enjoy diversity of the plant world. The plants' labels provide information on scientific names and main range, as well as a name in Finnish. Additional information can be found on information boards.

Romeo
In Romeo, you will find examples of tropical and subtropical vegetation: tropical fruits, orchids, carnivorous plants, lianas and aquatic plants, as well as familiar and unknown food and fodder plants. The world's rarest tree, the smallest flowering plant, or the world's largest seed await its discoverer.

Julia
In Juliet, you can get to know the vegetation of the Mediterranean climate, the vegetation of the desert and the temperate climate: Olives (Olea europaea), geraniums, vines (Vitis vinifera), hummingbird flowers and araucaria create a Mediterranean atmosphere.
Agaves, aloes, rock flowers and cacti are survivors of extremely dry conditions.
Sequoia, magnolia and mulberry tree are examples of plants from temperate climate zone.
